The Role
Direct Agents is seeking a dynamic Office & Community Manager to join our People and Culture team. As the backbone of our NYC office, you'll create an exceptional workplace experience for all employees, and a kind welcome for clients & candidates, while managing the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of our company.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, organized, and hospitality-minded individual to make an impact starting on day 1 on the people team of a digital marketing & growth consultancy.

Schedule: 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM*
*Options for part-time, flexible schedule available
Compensation: $28-35/hr depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office setup and maintenance across all spaces within our four walls
- Monitor and maintain office inventory, ordering equipment and supplies within established budgets and procedure, finding efficiencies and automations along the way
- Manage equipment requests and maintain conference rooms
- Process employee travel requests and coordinate bookings, including detailed itineraries and real-time support for changes
- Prepare and submit timely budget and expense reports to the Finance team
- Handle various administrative and organizational tasks as business needs arise
- Help field questions in person and on slack, with clear guidance on what you can answer and what you should go to a more senior member of the team
- Help plan in-office events and occasional off-site and the related internal communications
- Serve as a friendly welcome and point of contact for office visitors.
- Provide proactive day-to-day support to the CEO as needed, anticipating needs and resolving issues before they arise
- Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism
- Jump in wherever needed with a positive, solution-oriented mindset—no task too big or too small!

- Thrives in high-growth, fast-changing environments
- 6 months - 1 year of on-site operations experience (examples: office, hospitality, etc)
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with keen attention to detail
- You know when to be resourceful and when it’s time to escalate
- You love keeping trackers up to date, thinking ahead (without overthinking), and moving things forward
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities across multiple platforms (phone, email, Slack)
- Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and service providers
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
Important Details
- Start Time Requirement: Must be available to begin work at 9:00 AM to prepare the office for 9:30 AM operations
- Physical Requirements: Ability to handle office equipment, receive packages, and manage deliveries
- Location Requirement: Must reside within commuting distance of our NYC office for reliable daily attendance
